Postally used, Sent from one soldier to another as an Xmas card in 1905, Victoria (Australia) cancelled stamp and Melbourne Cancellation. Corner wear and a light central crease otherwise in reasonably good condition and a splendid image by the famous military artist Harry Payne.

Original WW1 silk printed cigarette card, paper backed with details of regiment to reverse. In very good condition, may have minor age spots and light marking. No 23 of a set of 108 different cards distributed by a number of different cigarette manufacturers entitled "Crests & Badges of the British Army". Thought to have been issued by British American Tobacco in 1915.

Ifs bully beef tonight lads! Cooks of E Company display their tins of Fray Bentos and very helpfully a set of blackboards confirming the battalion's identity. The date 1912 places them inside a barracks located in South Africa as this is where they were stationed at that time.

Postally unused, a scarce image of the inside of a pre WW1 / WW1 barracks. The soldier seated on the far left has a three piece territorial army brass shoulder title but unable to make out the unit. Some white specs from developing flaw otherwise in good condition with a slight crease to the right side. A posed photo but also one showing them relaxing and working on their kit.
