The Malaysian Government awarded a commemorative medal, known as the Pingat Jasa Malaysia, to British veterans and others who served in operations in Malaya/Malaysia between August 1957 and August 1965. The medal can be worn with official medals. In very good condition, but with a short length of ribbon only remaining.

22nd Foot (Cheshire Regiment) Silver Regimental Medal of Merit

In very good NEF condition with no edge knocks or polishing. Unnamed as issued. Issued in silver for 14 years good conduct. Such medals were replaced in the 1850s by the issue of the Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Silver dark toned. Often found unofficially mounted with a suspender but this has not been so modified. Scarce.

Pte George Turner, initially enlisted the Herts Regiment prior the the outbreak of WW1 in March 1914, but was awarded his medal entitlement with the 4th ( Territorial Force ) Battalion the Essex Regiment.
