Folded for wear and removed from uniform, in good condition and colours bright, and these reflect the corps colours. Issued in 1951 and worn until 1967. Worn in facing pairs this eon with the wavy lines to the right.

In un-iussed condition, a red horseshoe with thirteen nails embroidered on black, introduced in 2003 and worn on the shirt and combat jacket (Combat 95) through to 2012 when Combat 95 was replaced by the MTP (Multi Terrain Pattern) combat uniform.

Northern Ireland District 3rd Pattern Printed Formation Signs, Kings Crown & QEII issues

Both 3rd patterns, an unissued King's crown calico printers pattern as worn in WW2 and the post 1952 embroidered version with a Queen's crown, the latter in poor overall condition with some damage to the shield's yellow threads.

Davis No 137 refers (he describes the king's crown version of this as being Fairly Scarce - Rare).
