A good original matching pair of circa 1907 to 1950 period 'Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve QAIMNSR nickel badges', worn on on the collar, but also as a cap badge, the reverse of each embossed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. King's Shropshire Light Infantry ( KSLI ) Gilt and Silver Plated Officer's Collar Badge

Bugle facing left, an unusual small die cast pattern, with an especially the short top knot, with two original silvered lugs to the reverse and stamped P for silver plated. Circa 3.1cm wide and 2.5cm tall. Perhaps worn on mess dress? Attractive and in good condition.
