Scarce Edwardian Lancers Brass L Shoulder titles

A pair of single L shoulder titles as worn by Lancer regiments with separate brass numerals. Worn by the Lancer regiments between 1900 and 1913. Circa 20mm tall and 15mm wide. Each with two original loops to the reverse (not matching in loop configuration but a reasonably good match from the front). Scarce.

Hexagonal fixings neatly removed and a slider has been soldered into the reverse. Not sure the intention, OCA item or possibly done to the shortage of cap badges for the service battalions formed rapidly in the early days of WW1. Sold as seen.
