With three original dark toned loops to the reverse and with sweat / braising / expansion holes. Shows signs of being worn but in good condition with sharp detail. Worn with a slider from circa 1910 onwards so this is an early pattern.

A rare die cast sterling silver example stamped Ludlow and Sterling, with two original copper loops to the reverse. Silver dark toned otherwise in very good condition. Ludlow tended to make badges for officer's only in the 1930s and during WW2.
