A superb set to this territorial unit comprising die cast officer's cap badge blackened, with red felt centre held in place with backing disc and two tabs. South African School Cadets Large Brass Alloy Metal Pouch Badge

Worn circa 1910 - 1961, with two screw fittings and retaining nuts to reverse. looks like loops have been removed and contemporaneously replaced with screw fittings for wear on a pouch or belt. Strong and well struck badge, large ( 5.5cm tall and 6cm wide) and attractively styled.
