Maker marked on the reverse side with a logo and "G1", also marked "STERLING". There are two clutch back posts on the reverse side with pinch type of friction keepers. 1950s onwards.

In unissued condition. The badge was made by “Calico Printers”. Red RAF eagle, RN anchor and an Army Tommy-Gun on a black tombstone shaped backing, this shape usually worn by Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel in Combined Operations Units.
