Indian Army - CLH Calcutta Light Horse Brass Shoulder Title
The Calcutta Light Horse was raised in 1872 and formed part of the Cavalry Reserve in the British Indian Army. The regiment was disbanded following India's independence in 1947. This is very nicely cast with two small original lugs to the reverse. Of good quality, possibly officers' issue.

Rare Leicestershire Yeomanry White Metal Cap Badge

A stunning bi-metal cap badge with sharp detail and original slider (bent to shape). An all brass economy issue appeared in 1969.
The regiment merged with the 11th Hussars in 1969.

WW2 56th (London) Division Woven Cloth Formation Sign
A worn example with a small hole to right of cat's neck and with some paper stuck to reverse, edges a little raggy. Condition reflected in price.
The formation badge for the 56th Division during the Second World War featured Dick Whittington's black cat on a red background.
Davis No 98 refers (Davis describes it as fairly scarce).

The Royal Gloucestershire Hussars ( Yeomanry ) Brass Cap Badge - Dowler
A good heavy die struck cap badge with original slider which is maker marked " Wm. Dowler. ( B'ham ) ". This is one of several naming styles used by Dowler. This pattern of naming is correct, earlier than most and not often encountered. Scarce.
This pattern was worn post 1908, the portcullis is surmounted by a ducal coronet (the arms of the Dukes of Beaufort).
