A cast unmarked silver example with two original loops to the reverse. A seated crowned Chinthe facing left on a torse above the scroll 'Civis Sed Miles' (A citizen but a soldier) with a further scroll below that with the words "RESERVE Bn. B.M.P." An Indian made sand cast example silver plated with original long slider to reverse (clipped) suggesting it was worn in a sun helmet or pagri band. In very good condition.

The Lions of Ashoka over a wreath, five pointed star in centre, scroll below MILITARY POLICE.

Indian Army - 6th Rajputana Rifles (RR) Blackened Cast Brass Cap Badge

A Theatre made cast blackened brass example with two original loops (n-s) to the reverse. Flat topped Victorian crown (similar to DLI Victorian Cap badge), more usually found with a King's Crown, but in either event as worn from 1922 - 1950. Some wear to painted black finish on highpoints otherwise in good overall condition.

Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Bi-Metal Cap Badge (converted to lugs)

Die cast two part badge. Slider neatly removed and not so neatly replaced with two lugs. A heavy badge with a sense of real quality to it with slight polishing to the highpoints on eagle's breast.

Formed in 1971 by amalgamation of the 3rd Carabiniers and Royal Scots Greys.
