As worn from 1908 until 1950. Un-voided. Original slider (slightly squashed flat at top of crown). Appears to have been double struck from the reverse but does not affect front image.

This unit was 6th in the order of precedence of yeomanry regiments. First raised in 1795.

Indian Army - South Waziristan Scouts Silver Cap Badge - Maker Marked Barton

King's crown silver cap badge with two squeezed in loops with makers details for " Barton" and a " Silver " stamp to the reverse. The crowned 3D head of a mountain goat above the tri-part title scroll, " South Waziristan Scouts". Silver dark toned and apart from the nipped in loops in very good condition with sharp detail.
