Cap and back badge set, die struck and a different pattern of Sphinx design to the one listed as item 62345. Some small marks to the sphinx otherwise in good condition.
The regiment was formed in 1994 by the amalgamation of the Gloucestershire Regiment and the Duke of Edinburgh's Royal Regiment (Berkshire and Wiltshire) and merged with others to form the Rifles in 2007.

Physical Training Instructor ( PTI ) Royal Air Force ( RAF ) Non-substantive Arm Badge ( smaller pattern)
This pattern was introduced in 1923, made from brass gilding metal. It is an especially attractive badge depicting three muscular arms, each wielding a club. This is the smaller pattern version for sale here. The larger one is depicted here for comparison purposes only but is for sale above. The smaller one is circa 3.5cm across.

Pre WW1 Irish Guards Officers Large Pattern Gilt Button, Kings Crown - Jennens
Circa 26mm in diameter, fixed shank and maker marked Jennens & Co, London. Gilt mainly present but some tarnishing (looks worse in the photos). As worn from 1902. An early button as Jennens only made buttons between 1832 and 1912, and were later acquired by Gaunt in 1924.
