An early Cunard Line bullion hat badge, circa 4.8cms tall, heavily embroidered with gold bullion on black felt backing, the lion with an applied metal face. A solid rampant lion holding the earth at centre, with small crown to top of the lions head. Most probably a station master style hat badge, circa 1890s. In very good worn condition.

Registered Design No 641090 indicating the year 1914. In the form of an enamelled sailors white and blue cap with a gun barrel draped with a simulated rope mounted with glass stones of red, white and blue. Maker marked T+H. Gilt bright, some edge wear to the enamel on the hat, especially the rim, otherwise in very good condition for age and an attractive piece.
