An unmarked silver circlet inscribed 'For King And Empire Services Rendered' bearing crowned 'GRI' Imperial Cypher to voided centre. In very good condition, bright cleaned, original C clasp and pin. WW2 - 1GR Woven Shoulder Title - 1st Gurkha Rifles

"1.G.R " in black embroidery on light khaki cloth sewn to an olive green backing. The publication below confirms on page 42 that all examples known have no full stop after the "R" as with this one. Worn by all ranks in WW2. Some glue to traces to reverse otherwise in very good worn condition.
