Unissued condition, drawing pin hole to top of backing cloth otherwise near mint.
Five leaves on each side (for 55th) with red rose of Lancashire. This was a First-Line Territorial Division, composed of Territorial s from the Liverpool and West Lancashire area, and as part of the Home Forces the division was used in a training role.

A genuine British made WWII shoulder patch of the 9th Air Force, manufactured in Britain, good overall condition, some small areas of staining to backing cloth and top point of star.
Its 439th, 440th, 441st Troop Carrier Groups dropped the regiments of the 101st Airborne Division during Operation Overlord.
