A different pattern to the large pattern forage cap star, note the shape of the rays (see final photo for a comparison with the large pattern cap star listed elsewhere on this site for sale). Coldstream Guards Officer's Large Hallmarked Silver with Enamel Cap Star

A large three part construction cap star, die cast and maker marked JRG (JR Gaunt) with Birmingham assay silver hallmarks for 1970 (date letter V) with enamel to strap and centre cross in very good condition. Two original long silvered loops to reverse. Silver finish dark toned, slight service wear. An example with a bit of age to it (now over 50 years!). Circa 5.4cms tall.
