Circa 24mm in diameter. Fully functional pin fitting to the reverse.
Red, white, black green and yellow enamels surrounding a central white metal device which bears the profiles of the Kaiser and Franz Joseph showing the unity between Germany and Austria. Circa 1914. A fairly large shave off the enamel in one white enamel panel otherwise in good overall condition.

6th Battalion Durham L.I. ( DLI ) Other Ranks Embroidered Red on Green Felt Cloth Shoulder Title
In unissued good condition. 6th Territorial Battalion issue. To commemorate their origins as Rifle Volunteers of the 1860s, the 6th Bn DLI moved away from the Light Infantry colour scheme in August 1955, this pattern adopted for Other Ranks only. the dark green looks almost black. Scarce.

Durham Light Infantry DLI Major Officer's Small Embroidered Cloth Shoulder Title mounted on Slip-on for wear Shirt Sleeve Order - 1950s
A scarce regular DLI Officer's shoulder shirt sleeve order slip-on epaulette, early 1950s, worn post war and during the Korean War era. Genuine and very good condition, with no mothing, a few marks. Title circa 6.3cm wide and 1.8cm high. This smaller title was unique to officers of the Regiment. Queen's crown rank crown would date this particular item to post 1952.

All came together, the cap and collars with equal polishing and colour, a much loved set clearly from the same soldier together with his brass shoulder titles. Original fittings with cotter pins, Will not split. Would look great with some WW1 medals to a regular soldier of 18th Hussars.

A scarce die cast OSD officers light bronzed cap badge with two original blades to the reverse, but these have been truncated / trimmed to have square ends. In good overall condition. Pre 1922. See also my item 62812 for a dark OSD version with full length blades.

WW1 Tyneside Scottish - 4th Pattern White Metal Glengarry Badge
Original die struck white metal cap badge in good condition with two original D shaped loops to reverse.
Also found with a pin fitting. As worn in WW1 by 20th , 21st , 22nd , 23rd and 29th (Service) Battalions, The Northumberland Fusiliers (Tyneside Scottish). This pattern was introduced in 1916 and not worn in WW2.
