Scarce Gold Coast Regiment West African Frontier Force ( GCR WAFF ) Brass Shoulder Title

Early pattern as worn from 1901 - 1928 (the title Royal was bestowed in 1928 in view of their service against the Germans in Africa during WW1 ). A large elliptical one piece die cast shoulder title. This is a heavy quality piece, circa 5.4cm wide and 3.4cm tall. Slight misshaping to one lug. Scarce.

Royal Army Ordnance Corps (RAOC) Officer's Gilt & Enamel Cap Badge, 1947 - 1949 Pattern - Tonanti - Ludlow

Of two part construcion with two original loops to reverse. This is in excellent condition and has a real quality to it. No damage to enamel and maker marked Ludlow, London. Quite a hard badge to find as worn for two years only between 1947 and 1949, so post WW2.

Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) Officer's Enamel Collar Badges, GVI King's Crown

Pre 1953 issue, King's crown, of two part construction, silver plate, gilt and enamel. Two original silvered loops to the reverse of each and maker marked JR Gaunt London. Circa 2.8cms tall. One marked 'P' for silver plated. Some minor damage to enamel on circlet of each when examined closely, but not obvious.

Original slider to reverse with correct blue backing cloth for wear on the beret. The GV RASC badges are scarce. It is a mystery as to why this should have be such a hard badge to find; the assumption being that earlier non Royal title cap badges were to be used up first.

Small pre 1952 beret pattern fire gilt die cast cap badge - a real belts and braces this one - with slider and two original lugs! An attractive display of an RHA cast GVI brass cap badge with two collar badges and the large full gun cap badge to the reverse. on the reverse one can see the remains of the clipped slider and the lugs which have been hammered into place rivet style.
