4th / 5th Territorial Force Battalions of Prince Albert 's Somerset Light Infantry White Metal Cap Badge

Good strong die struck large pattern white metal badge with original slider. The scroll with the South Africa 1900-01 as worn by the territorial battalions. Some polishing has eroded the detail of the bricks on the crown, but otherwise good condition.

N.E.A.S = Non European Army Services - formed in 1940 and was effectively the South African Native Labour Corps. 2 original lugs in very good condition (some dried polish to reverse). Dark bronze finish. Circa 32mm. Worn in facing pairs, this one with elephant facing to right.

Early - Mid Victorian North Lincoln Militia Officer's Silver Plated Tunic Button, no 8 to centre of cross.

Circa 22mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker marked Firmin & Sons, 153 Strand, London (this format of backmark was only used between 1835 and 1849). A pre 1855 pattern button without the rim. Shank slightly bent over, silver plate dark toned and on highpoints worn to base metal, otherwise in good condition and scarce.
