Die struck cap badge in good overall condition but with some rippling to badge. Original slider to reverse. This pattern worn from onwards about 1910 onwards with a a slider. Within the Regiment is was referred to as the "Eiffel Tower" badge.

British India - Indian Ecclesiastical Establishment Blackened Bronze Cap Badge

A nicely made cast badge of Indian manufacture with two original loops to the reverse. A cracking example. Also known as the 'The Padres'. They were not officially a part of the RAChD and were not administered by the Chaplain-General. Circa 3.9cms tall.

WW2 blackened bronze die cast king's crown cap badge with two original loops and makers details for Luke Melbourne to the reverse as worn by Chaplains of the Jewish Faith. Die cast with two original lugs as opposed to blades. The demand for these badges I suspect was driven more by collectors seeking an example rather than by the small number of Jewish Chaplains / Rabbi’s to be found in the British Army, whose numbers can be counted on less than one hand.
