Somerset Light Infantry ( Prince Albert's ) Officer's Right Facing Large Pattern Collar Badge

A die cast bronze right facing collar badge with two original loops to the reverse. Sadly there is a fracture in one of the bugle strings to the top right of the "A" and the "P" looks to be detached from the left string, a bit fragile looking here. Otherwise in good condition. Victorian Medical Staff Corps Officer's Fire Gilt Button Set

Circa 23mm and 15mm in diameter respectively. Fixed shanks and all maker marked J.W. Reynolds & Co, 50 St. Martin's Lane, London. The smaller pair most probably from cap. All in brilliant fire gilt and of a super quality. Only fault is one of the smaller buttons has a small scratch near rim. Scarce maker. Worn 1855 - 1898. From 1898 became the RAMC.
