A 1957 Lance Corporals' pattern two part construction badge with raised rim, the oval in gilding metal and the eagle blackened, with two original loops (east - west) to the reverse and two original screw posts to the reverse of the eagle but now with replacement retaining nuts (should have been hexagonal). The Middlesex Regiment ( 57th & 77th Foot) Other Ranks Bi-metal Issue Cap Badge with Original Felt Regimental Backing Cloth
Most probably a WW2 issue as no evidence of braising holes to reverse. A diamond back badge in the regiment's regimental colours (in equal portions) of gold yellow and dark maroon sewn onto a satin black material backing. A genuine British made WWII shoulder patch of the 9th Air Force, manufactured in Britain, good overall condition, some small areas of staining to backing cloth and top point of star.
Its 439th, 440th, 441st Troop Carrier Groups dropped the regiments of the 101st Airborne Division during Operation Overlord.

WW2 47th (London) Territorial Infantry Division Embroidered Cloth Formation Sign Flash Patch Designation - 2nd Pattern
2nd Pattern Rectangular, circa 5.2cm by 4cm. Removed from uniform but in very good condition. The red bells on a black background. Finely woven in silk.
