Northumberland Fusiliers Colour Belt Fire Gilt Ornaments On original White Leather Belt End

A fire gilt version of the slide and belt end (the drummer's pattern was in gilding metal) as attached to the Ensign's belt used to carry the King / Queen's Colour and Regimental Colour, and possibly also the Drummer's Colour (unique to the Northumberland Fusiliers and carried on St George's Day). Fusilier Officers Gilt Brass Greatcoat / Cape Cloak Chains

A lovely fire gilt pair, near mint with minimal service wear and complete with original 7 link chain, clasp and three original horizontal loops to the reverse of each grenade. Worn by regiments such as the Northumberland Fusiliers, from 1864 until 1905. Thanks to George for also confirming they are still officer issue for the Life Guards, although these are of much earlier issue.
