This pattern of cypher relating to George V and as worn 1911 - 1935, a large die cast gilt cap badge with two original lugs to reverse, UK made. Gilt bright. Circa 4.9cms tall. Fire gilt finish superb. Mounted on red felt backing for display. Together with a single "Staff" gilt shoulder title which is in equally good condition.

Scarce Memorial Postcard for loss of HM Submarine L24 - includes roll of honour
A tragic reminder of the perils of being at sea, L24 was lost with all hands off Portland Bill following a collision with HMS Resolution on 10th January 1924, also depicted. Postally unused and in good condition.
