A genuine example with lugs removed (they were north - south) and expertly attached permanently to a brass menu ring stand which has an upright ring for holding the menu card / place setting name card. Complete with its original blades, maker marked 'A Stanley & Sons, Walsall' and ' 1-A'. In good overall condition with little distortion and no crazing of the cellulose acetate plastic. Sometimes incorrectly described as Bakelite. One small split in top blade but this has not extended to the rest of it and fully functional.

A large red felt "W" on a horizontal base sewn to a khaki battledress rectangle. Circa 7cms tall and 10cms wide. Small stain on red felt otherwise in good condition and has some age to it.
