Indian Army - 25th Bombay Light Infantry Officer's Gilt and Silver Plated Pagri Badge, c1885 - 1889 only
A simply stunning pagri badge, with original and functional pin fittings, and original red velvet cloth backing (some slight stressing to this between the numerals otherwise in remarkable condition for age). A matching set with one single central loop to the reverse of each part, so a later issue. In very good condition. Worn from 1898 - 1961. F cyphers were worn facing left, but the elephants were worn facing.

Scottish Highland Brigade Officer's 3D Glengarry Badge
A die cast silver plated example of two part construction in the form of a 3-D Stag's head above a 'Cuidich'n Righ' scroll superimposed on a saltire. Commonly known as a 'crucified moose' among the troops. Three of three original loops to the reverse. Sligh service wear and tarnishing otherwise in very good condition. Worn circa 1958-69.

South Africa - Cape Peninsula Rifles (CPR) Gilding Metal Helmet Badge, Pagri Fitting
A dark toned gilding metal example which has been worn but with a slider presumably for wearing on the pagri band on the tropical / sun helmet. Some signs of service wear, some traces of verdigris to reverse otherwise in good worn condition.

Canadian Militia - 50th Gordon Highlanders Sporran Badge
A small die struck bronze sporran badge at circa 35mm tall. Two loops but one of these is a contemporary replacement. Most probably an officer's issue given the OSD finish. I believe other ranks wore this in white metal. Scarce.
The 50th Gordon Highlanders were a pre-1914 militia unit formed in Victoria British Columbia (Sir Arthur Currie helped raise the regiment in 1913).<... read more

Pickled copper die struck cap badge with 2 original loops to reverse. Maker's name Dingwall of Winnipeg to reverse. Raised in Manitoba. Considered to be the second pattern badge with the addition of the wording "Selkirk Manitoba" in small lettering.
