This was worn by an officer of the Artillery of the Jordanian Arab Legion. Worn by both British and Jordanian officers. Many thanks to Keith for its identification.

WW1 Patriotic Royal Navy Gilt Sweetheart Brooch Pin Badge
Registered Design present but hard to read, but most probably for the either the year 1914 or 1915. In the form of a sailor's straw boater hat to the centre of crossed naval cutlasses / swords mounted with glass stones of red, white and blue. Original and functional pin fitting. Gilt bright. In very good condition for age and an attractive piece.
