Blackened finish heavily worn, two original D shaped loops (slightly bent inwards but functional). Circa 13mm tall and 40mm wide. In good worn condition. Pre 1958 pattern but one of a different patterns worn.

Royal Scots Fusiliers OSD Officer's Shoulder Title (early pre 1907 pattern)

Most probably worn from 1902 with the introduction of Officer's Service Dress but Westlake notes photographic evidence of this pattern being worn in the 1890s (p81).
